  • We are seeking a DC / Project Coordinator to support the planning, administration, and execution of semiconductor fabrication plant construction projects in Taylor, Texas.
  • This is a developmental position that will provide hands-on exposure to project coordination, scheduling, vendor and subcontractor coordination, project documentation, budgets, submittals, and project closeout activities.
  • The Project Coordinator will serve as a key connection between Project Managers, field operations, vendors, subcontractors, and clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and eager to develop their knowledge of multi-discipline industrial construction projects.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on project needs.
  • Essential Job Functions
  • Collaborate with project teams during project planning and setup.
  • Assist with scheduling and planning field activities and project resources.
  • Track project progress, deadlines, deliverables, risks, and issues, and communicate updates to the Project Manager and project team.
  • Help ensure projects remain organized and on schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Create, coordinate, and maintain project submittals, including work plans, schedules of values, Health and Safety Plans (HASP), and material submittals.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including reports, invoices, contracts, schedules, correspondence, and closeout records.
  • Assist with reviewing daily reports and project or safety documentation.
  • Ensure project records are complete, current, and properly maintained.
  • Review vendor and subcontractor quotations for accuracy, scope alignment, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams regarding required documentation.
  • Assist with resolving discrepancies involving quotations and invoices.
  • Assist with project budgets, invoices, and other project-related financial documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager, including scheduling meetings, coordinating workflow, and maintaining project records.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and project standards.
  • Participate periodically in field operations to develop an understanding of construction activities.
  • Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn project delivery processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on project and business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred. 3+ years of relevant field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with project coordination activities such as scheduling, tracking, documentation, submittals, purchasing, and communication required.
  • Basic knowledge of design and construction permitting processes.
  • Knowledge of construction trade terminology, materials, methods, codes, contracts, specifications, and bidding practices preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project or construction management systems such as Microsoft Project, Autodesk, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with management, project teams, field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and complete records.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and conditions.
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment and periodically at active construction sites.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends based on project requirements.
