  • Position Overview
  • We are seeking a proactive, relationship-oriented student to support strategic partnerships and revenue-related initiatives in Washington, DC.
  • This role is ideal for students interested in public policy, nonprofit leadership, social impact, consulting, or business development. You will gain hands-on experience building real partnerships across government, foundations, and workforce organizations.
  • This is not a research-only role — it is execution-focused and network-driven.
  • What You’ll Do
  • Identify and research DC-based agencies, workforce boards, foundations, and policy stakeholders
  • Conduct targeted outreach to secure introductory meetings
  • Attend professional networking events and represent the organization
  • Maintain and track contacts in CRM
  • Support partnership follow-ups and proposal preparation
  • Assist with grant research and pilot opportunity development
  • What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
  • 50+ new qualified contacts added to CRM
  • 15–20 introductory conversations scheduled
  • 5+ high-value warm introductions secured
  • Support advancement of at least one partnership or pilot opportunity

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
  • Majors preferred: Public Policy, International Affairs, Business, Economics, Political Science, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable initiating outreach and meeting new professionals
  • Highly organized and self-directed
  • Prior internship experience in government, nonprofit, advocacy, or consulting preferred
  • Korean-English bilingual is a plus
