POSITION SUMMARY
Provide day-to-day technical support and help maintain reliable IT systems across office and manufacturing operations, including end-user devices, connectivity, security practices, and coordination with external IT service providers.

Responsibilities

Respond to employee IT support requests and troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
Set up, configure, maintain, and track computers, mobile devices, user accounts, and peripherals.
Assist with LAN, Wi-Fi, network equipment, and internet connectivity troubleshooting; escalate complex issues to service providers.
Support access permissions, onboarding/offboarding IT tasks, device inventory, and documentation.
Coordinate with vendors and contracted IT teams on system maintenance, upgrades, and incident resolution.
Assist with troubleshooting IT connectivity or user-access issues affecting manufacturing applications and MES, in coordination with system owners.
Follow company cybersecurity practices, including updates, endpoint protection, backup checks, and reporting suspected incidents.
Maintain clear help-desk records, system documentation, and equipment assignment records.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Practical experience troubleshooting Windows computers, Microsoft 365 applications, and common office IT equipment.
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, user account administration, and IT security basics.
Strong customer-service, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to provide on-site support in both office and manufacturing environments.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
Comparable training will also be considered, such as a technical college or IT certificate program, military IT training, or completed industry certifications.
Relevant hands-on IT support experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Candidates with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience are encouraged to apply.
Bilingual in Korean and English (spoken and written) REQUIRED.

Nice to have

0–5 years of IT support or related experience; candidates with less experience will also be considered.
Experience supporting manufacturing facilities or MES-related systems.
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, network troubleshooting, asset management, and third-party IT vendors.
Relevant IT certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications).
WORK ENVIRONMENT
On-site work in an office and automotive manufacturing facility in Opelika, Alabama. Occasional support in production areas may be needed.
