Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our facility in Register, GA. This position supports our automotive manufacturing operations by managing infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring network and system reliability in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- IT Infrastructure Setup: Assist in planning, implementing, and managing servers, networks, and workstations tailored to manufacturing operations.
- System Configuration: Configure and optimize hardware and software systems to support automotive manufacturing workflows.
- Technical Support: Act as the primary contact for technical troubleshooting, resolving issues promptly to minimize operational downtime.
- Network Management: Monitor LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations while maintaining robust network security and data protection.
- Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain manufacturing-related software, including ERP and MES applications.
- Data Security: Implement security protocols to safeguard company data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Vendor Coordination: Partner with external IT vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and service procurement.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and prepare IT performance reports.
- Staff Training: Educate team members on IT systems and security best practices to maximize productivity.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing IT infrastructure, network configurations, and system administration. Knowledge of automotive manufacturing software (ERP, MES) is preferred.
- Language Requirement:Fluency in both English and Korean (verbal and written) is required to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a track record of effective issue resolution.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business requirements.
- Certifications (Plus): Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are advantageous.
