We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Sr. Engineer to lead the delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing IT systems in a high-volume production environment.
This role will serve as a technical lead for plant-level manufacturing systems, working closely with production, engineering, quality, IT teams, and global headquarters to ensure system performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
The position will support critical manufacturing systems including MES, MCS, RMS, EMS, FDC, and QMS.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing IT systems
Define system requirements and coordinate with plant operations and global development teams
Develop and manage IT project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
Support IT budgeting, vendor management, and contract administration
Serve as the primary technical contact for system performance and reliability
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex system issues
Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Lead application change management from requirements through implementation
Ensure system changes align with business needs and corporate IT standards
Monitor system performance and compliance with SLAs
Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and production performance
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams
Provide technical guidance to junior team members and business partners
Maintain system documentation, processes, and governance standards
Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and applicable regulations
Communicate regularly with global headquarters in Korea regarding system strategy, issues, and implementation
Maintain workplace organization in accordance with 5S3R standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of IT systems experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience leading IT system implementation, delivery, and maintenance
Experience with manufacturing systems such as:
MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
MCS (Material Control System)
RMS (Recipe Management System)
EMS (Equipment Management System)
FDC (Fault Detection and Classification)
QMS (Quality Management System)
Experience managing IT services and operations
Experience working with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Experience with system integration, application support, or industrial IT environments preferred
Requirements
Fluent English and Korean required
Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills
Strong understanding of manufacturing IT systems and system integration
Understanding of system architecture and data flow in manufacturing environments
Project management and system implementation experience
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical documentation
Work Authorization
