You will assist with food preparation, maintain a spotless working environment, and help keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently during busy service hours.

Responsibilities
Food Preparation: Assist chefs with basic food prep tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and preparing simple ingredients.
Cleanliness & Sanitation: Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations.
Inventory & Organization: Unload deliveries, organize the pantry and walk-in refrigerators, and ensure ingredients are properly rotated (FIFO).
Waste Management: Safely and promptly remove trash and recycling from the kitchen area.
Team Support: Step in to assist other kitchen staff wherever needed to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Things That Are Helpful
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or dishwashing role (preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right person!).
A basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
A proactive, team-player attitude with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
