  • Job Description
  • We are seeking an organized, innovative, and collaborative Process Piping Engineer to support complex industrial, high-tech manufacturing, and commercial projects in Taylor, Texas.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience designing, revising, and extending process piping and process systems for new construction and major renovation projects. Experience with semiconductor fabrication, display fabrication, battery manufacturing, or other advanced manufacturing facilities is highly preferred.
  • This position offers opportunities to work throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design and engineering development through construction documentation, field support, and commissioning.
  • Essential Job Functions
  • Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), system layout plans, and equipment sizing specifications.
  • Execute process designs from conceptual criteria through working drawings, construction documents, and field commissioning.
  • Perform detailed process piping design, equipment selection, and process system startup documentation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, system owners, vendors, and contractors.
  • Provide engineering support, site observations, and technical issue resolution during construction.
  • Develop and implement standardized engineering approaches, industry best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support proposal development, technical consulting opportunities, and client presentations.
  • Provide technical guidance and design oversight to engineering staff.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering and facility challenges.
  • Manage engineering assignments independently and serve as a technical point of contact for assigned process systems.
  • Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and other project deliverables as required.
  • Education & Licensure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
  • PE license required for Senior-level designation.
  • Required Experience
  • Process Engineer: 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Senior Process Engineer: 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Direct experience with semiconductor FABs, display FABs, battery manufacturing facilities, or similar advanced manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of process system control philosophies and P&ID development.
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes, engineering standards, and safety requirements.
  • Experience preparing technical reports and engineering documentation.
  • Experience with technical experiments and computer-based process simulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with building energy calculation or engineering analysis software.
  • Strong understanding of process piping design and process system integration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.
  • Korean language proficiency is preferred.
  • Technical publications, white papers, or industry-specific technical contributions are a plus.
