- Role Summary:
- Occupational disease prevention and chemical exposure control specialist.
Responsibilities
- Periodically measure and manage chemical exposure and noise levels within the facility.
- Evaluate workstations and derive ergonomic improvements to prevent musculoskeletal disorders.
- Manage pre-employment drug screening, hearing conservation programs, and statutory medical examination schedules for new hires, acting as the liaison with local designated occupational health clinics.
- Provide initial first-aid support during on-site injuries and administer workers' compensation administrative processing.
Requirements
- Practical experience in Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health.
- Experience operating health management programs based on OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
- 4+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
Nice to have
CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) credential.
