We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support purchasing and sourcing activities for a fast-paced global supply chain organization. This role will be responsible for supplier coordination, purchase order management, sourcing support, cost analysis, and cross-functional communication to ensure the timely procurement of materials and services.
The ideal candidate will have prior corporate work experience and exposure to procurement, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or vendor management. Korean language skills are highly preferred, as the role may involve communication and collaboration with overseas stakeholders and global business partners.
Responsibilities
Manage the purchasing process from requisition through purchase order issuance and delivery confirmation.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
Monitor purchase orders, shipment schedules, and supplier performance to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and support sourcing activities to achieve cost savings and procurement efficiency.
Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor information, and purchasing documentation.
Assist with supplier relationship management, contract administration, and vendor evaluations.
Work closely with logistics, warehouse, operations, and accounting teams to resolve procurement-related issues.
Track inventory levels and support replenishment planning as needed.
Prepare purchasing reports, spend analyses, and procurement metrics for management review.
Support process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement and supply chain operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field preferred.
1–3 years of corporate experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related business function.
Exposure to purchasing processes, supplier management, sourcing, or procurement activities.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
Nice to have
Korean-English bilingual proficiency preferred.
Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, or logistics providers.
Knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor negotiations, and supply chain processes.
Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, electronics, industrial, or procurement service organizations is a plus.
