  • Position Overview
  • The Production Planning Specialist supports daily sales operations, demand planning, and investment coordination activities within a manufacturing environment.
  • This position is responsible for executing sales order processes, supporting demand planning, maintaining accurate data and documentation, and coordinating with internal teams and global stakeholders. The role works under the direction of senior team members and focuses on clearly defined operational and planning activities.
  • The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage sales orders and return orders within ERP systems.
  • Prepare and issue pro-forma and commercial invoices.
  • Support customer onboarding, including system setup and internal coordination.
  • Create and maintain customer accounts within internal systems.
  • Support customer credit limit monitoring and accounts receivable tracking.
  • Assist with payment follow-up activities.
  • Maintain and update product pricing within ERP systems.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding order status and documentation.
  • Support the development and maintenance of sales plans based on customer demand.
  • Coordinate with logistics and production planning teams regarding customer demand requirements.
  • Collaborate with global teams to support daily operational activities.
  • Assist with investment planning, including data collection, tracking, and reporting.
  • Support tracking of investment budgets, schedules, and project status.
  • Maintain accurate records related to sales, planning, and investment activities.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Support cross-functional coordination between production, logistics, finance, and business teams.
  • Follow established procedures and company policies.
  • Identify and escalate issues or potential risks to appropriate team members.
  • Maintain workplace organization in accordance with 5S3R standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Required / Preferred Experience
  • 1+ year of experience in production planning, sales operations, supply chain, finance, or a related field.
  • Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, operations, or planning may be considered in lieu of full-time experience.
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, preferred.

  • Ability to work with data, reports, and operational information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to learn and work with ERP systems and planning tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural work environment.
  • Korean/English bilingual proficiency preferred.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate computers, keyboards, and office equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and move within office and operational areas.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and move typical office materials, equipment, and material samples.
  • Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based work within a manufacturing facility.
  • Regular use of computer systems, including ERP/SAP and reporting tools.
  • Occasional access to production and operational areas.
  • Compliance with applicable safety procedures and PPE requirements is required when entering production areas.
