We are seeking an experienced Sr. IT Infrastructure Engineer to support critical IT infrastructure and manufacturing systems at a leading advanced manufacturing facility in Warren, Ohio.
This position will be responsible for supporting MES and logistics systems, troubleshooting complex IT and application issues, maintaining critical infrastructure, and improving system reliability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Analyze, develop, and validate business logic within MES and logistics systems.
Troubleshoot complex system issues across application and infrastructure environments.
Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective solutions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce system-related production downtime.
Maintain and support on-site data centers, servers, and critical IT infrastructure.
Manage industrial network connectivity, cabling, and device integration.
Ensure reliable communication between manufacturing equipment and IT systems.
Establish and maintain IT governance and security standards.
Coordinate with external vendors and technical service providers.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with technical standards.
Support IT investment planning and operational budget management.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and other internal teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Experience with MES and Logistics systems.
Strong understanding of database structures and query analysis.
Experience with Oracle and/or MS SQL.
Understanding of SAP ERP, SCM, and manufacturing data flows.
Experience supporting IT infrastructure, servers, networks, or data centers.
Manufacturing IT experience is strongly preferred.
Experience in battery, automotive, display, semiconductor, or other high-tech manufacturing environments is preferred.
Korean and English bilingual proficiency required.
