  • We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Structural Engineer to join our design team in support of a large-scale industrial facility project in Taylor, Texas.
  • This role will focus on the structural design and analysis of complex industrial facilities, including large-scale steel and reinforced concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with complex building systems, long-span structures, and multidisciplinary project coordination.
  • Experience with semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or similar industrial facilities is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design for large-scale industrial buildings, including complex steel and reinforced concrete structures.
  • Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and calculation reports to ensure code compliance, technical accuracy, stability, and constructability.
  • Coordinate with Architecture, MEP, and Process Engineering teams to develop structural solutions for heavy equipment loads and vibration control.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable U.S. building codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI, as well as applicable Texas regulations.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews of structural designs and documentation.
  • Provide structural stability assessments throughout various phases of construction.
  • Collaborate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve structural design and construction issues.
  • Support construction sequencing and provide technical guidance as needed.
  • Review project documentation and ensure structural designs meet applicable project requirements and standards.
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in structural design for heavy industrial, commercial, or similar large-scale projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Texas PE registration or the ability to obtain Texas registration through comity is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. building codes, structural design principles, and construction sequencing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Structural Engineer (SE) license.
  • Experience with BIM and structural design tools, including Revit.
  • Experience with semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or other highly complex industrial facilities.
  • Experience with large-scale steel and reinforced concrete structures.
  • Experience designing for heavy equipment loads and vibration considerations.
  • Korean language proficiency is preferred.
