We are seeking an experienced Assistant Construction Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes across major construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with project management, trade partners, and 3rd-party inspectors to implement quality plans, monitor compliance, conduct audits, and ensure all works meet strict technical and regulatory standards.

Quality Planning & Execution: Prepare, review, and implement project-specific quality plans (PQP), design quality plans, and QA/QC procedures aligned with project specifications and management objectives.
Inspection & Test Management: Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) submitted by supply partners prior to work kickoff. Control, direct, and coordinate all inspections with 3rd-party agencies and supply partners.
Compliance & Auditing: Plan and conduct audits of supply partners/contractors to ensure effective implementation of the Project Quality Management System (QMS) and identify areas for improvement.
Non-Conformance & Issue Resolution: Document departures from the quality plan and non-conformances in completed works. Issue and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), punch lists, and observation requests, following up through closure.
Reporting & KPI Tracking: Collect QA/QC data, perform trend analyses, and report on Quality Key Performance Indicators (Q-KPIs) in monthly QA/QC reports. Monitor implementation of KPI procedures and report negative trends.
Submittals & Special Processes: Review material submittals from supply partners for compliance with specifications and client requirements. Document and manage project special processes.
Training & Traceability: Maintain quality records relating to material traceability. Plan and arrange quality training to ensure all project personnel and supply partners are properly qualified, certified, and trained.

Total Experience: 6 to 10 years of total professional construction experience.
QA/QC Experience: Minimum 3 years of specialized QA/QC experience required.
Industry Experience: Minimum 3+ years of career experience at a construction company.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Architecture or related major preferred).
Key Technical Competencies:
Demonstrated experience with Architectural Quality Inspection & Test implementation for mega-projects (e.g., semiconductor plants, electric vehicle/battery gigafactories, etc.).

Ability to implement and manage inspections for Piers/Piles, Reinforced Concrete (RC) Structures, Precast Concrete, Steel Structures, Insulated Metal Panels (IMP), and Chemical/Corrosion Resistant Coatings (CRC).
Strong understanding of municipal/city inspection processes, building codes, and regulations.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Language Skills: English fluency required; Spanish or Korean bilingual ability is a plus.
Travel: Ability and willingness to travel as required (e.g., Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) or vendor inspections).
