An Equipment Engineer II supports equipment troubleshooting and breakdowns, improves equipment through programming and design to increase overall efficiency and productivity, and provides technical guidance on controls within the plant to share foundational equipment knowledge.

- Analyze OEE for breakdown frequency and uptime for daily production
- Report on OEE metrics (Micro stop, BM, and yield; ~50% of time)
- Complete production work orders for technology-based enhancements and design creation (e.g., PLC programming, line redesign) and monitor equipment post-improvement (~35% of time)
- Install new technology on the production line (e.g., laser installation; ~15% of time)
- Train other engineers with shared responsibilities
- Complete daily documentation and audits as required
- Follow established work instructions
- Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including proper PPE usage
- Adhere to general and position-specific dress code requirements
- Participate in and successfully complete all training requirements
- Maintain regular and reliable on-site attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned
자격 요건
- & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent relevant experience)
- 3–6+ years of related experience
- Experience installing, modifying, analyzing, repairing, and testing tools, machines, and equipment
- Experience analyzing equipment breakdown data and implementing corrective actions
- Skills
- Proficiency with 2D/3D equipment design software
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage internal/external customer interactions
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to properly and regularly utilize PPE (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes) for up to 12 hours
- Ability to repeatedly perform the following for up to 12 hours: lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds, stoop, twist, bend, reach overhead, sit, and/or stand
