- Reports to: Manager, Production
- Location: Lansing, MI
개요
The Process Engineer will support the distribution of resources in accordance with the production/shipment plan, ensure workplace safety, optimize processes and equipment for production activities, and manage and improve production-related outcomes (e.g., Yield, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Quantity, etc.).
주요 업무
- Work with engineers and operators to troubleshoot machines on the production floor to ensure highest yield and OEE
- Understand quality issues, review non-conformance reports (NCRs), analyze quality issues, and provide corrective actions
- Improve production processes by creating SOPs and training operators to ensure correct implementation on the floor
- Monitor production progress in accordance with the production plan
- Provide feedback to production management when progress issues occur
- Manage inventory (classification of good products and pending inventory)
- Handle and resolve non-conformance reports
- Manage process yield
- Conduct internal and customer audits
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and fire regulations
- Maintain cleanliness at the work site in accordance with 5S3R standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain; Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container)
- Perform other duties as assigned
자격 요건
- & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- 1–3+ years of experience in a manufacturing production role or equivalent relevant experience
