A technology and smart manufacturing solutions provider is seeking a Manufacturing Application Engineer to support computing systems and automated processes at EV battery manufacturing facilities.
This role combines IT knowledge, system troubleshooting, and customer support. The engineer will work with plant teams across North America to understand manufacturing needs, support system stability and implementation, and help improve factory automation solutions.

Analyze and troubleshoot IT and manufacturing systems based on requests from EV battery plants.
Communicate regularly with plant teams, gather feedback, and support the development and improvement of automated factory solutions.
Coordinate system updates and implementations, and monitor systems to help maintain stability and reliability.
Review customer requirements and manufacturing systems to prepare technical reports and documentation.
Provide training and technical support on standardized manufacturing systems.
Work onsite with equipment and PLC engineers to implement and test factory automation software.
Provide onsite and remote support for urgent production-related system issues.
Prepare status reports, procedural guides, technical advice, and recommendations.
Communicate effectively with IT teams, system vendors, and customers in a multicultural environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, computer science, or a related field; or at least three years of related experience in manufacturing or IT systems management.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Self-directed approach and ability to work independently.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to identify potential system issues.

Professional experience with database systems such as Microsoft SQL or Oracle SQL.
Knowledge of manufacturing application systems such as MES, WMS, ERP, or MCS.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard software.
Interest in developing a career in a fast-paced, evolving automated manufacturing environment.
Korean-English bilingual ability is a plus.
