직무 상세
Two Locations: Las Vegas, NV and San Diego / Orange County, CA
개요
- We are seeking an experienced and driven Director to lead the operations for a regional of our veterinary specialty and emergency hospitals. With a strategic plan to double in size within the next few years, this is a critical leadership role for someone ready to scale operations, develop high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence in a complex, fast-paced clinical environment.
- This is not an entry-level leadership role. The ideal candidate has risen through the ranks of veterinary hospital operations and has proven experience managing one large high-volume hospital or overseeing multiple hospitals within a region. You will report to a supportive but hands-off leadership team at headquarters, and you will be trusted to run the hospital independently while partnering closely with medical leadership and departmental teams.

- Own the hospital P&L, driving revenue growth, cost management, and margin improvement

- Manage and optimize staffing models, scheduling, recruitment, and retention in alignment with hospital growth
- Lead expansion initiatives in partnership with facilities, finance, and HQ leadership

- Monitor KPIs (efficiency, throughput, client satisfaction, DVM utilization, etc.) and implement action plans for continuous improvement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HQ operations, finance, and HR—but operate with autonomy day-to-day
자격 요건
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in veterinary hospital operations; experience managing large single-site operations ($10M+ revenue) or multiple smaller hospitals required
- Proven ability to lead large teams in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical setting
- Deep understanding of veterinary business operations including scheduling, budgeting, client relations, inventory, compliance, and medical team partnership
- Strong financial acumen and comfort managing complex budgets and growth forecasts
