- Position Overview
- We are seeking an HR & People Operations Associate to support the setup and ongoing
- management of the ABI Wellness Division.
- This role supports the establishment of HR processes for a new business unit, including
- recruiting, employee lifecycle management, and HR operations, with exposure to performance
- and incentive programs for sales teams and independent contractors (1099).
- The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and capable of working cross-functionally with
- headquarters and related teams. Interest in Korean culture and the beauty/wellness industry is
- highly valued.
Responsibilities
- 1) Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Support end-to-end recruiting (job postings, screening, interview coordination)
- Manage onboarding processes for W-2 employees and 1099 contractors
- Partner with hiring managers to support rapid team build-out
- 2) HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Manage attendance tracking, leave records, and HR compliance basics
- Support payroll coordination and HR administrative processes
- 3) Performance & KPI Management
- Assist in implementing and maintaining KPI frameworks across teams
- Track performance metrics and support performance review processes
- Help implement performance-based compensation structures
- 4) Incentive & Compensation Support
- Support management of sales incentives and commission structures
- Assist in coordination of incentive programs for 1099 contractors
- Track and validate incentive payouts in coordination with finance
- 5) Culture & Training
- Support initiatives to build a strong and collaborative team culture
- Assist in organizing onboarding sessions, internal training, and team programs
- Help shape a positive and performance-driven work environment
- 6) Cross-functional Coordination
- Act as a liaison between the Wellness Division and HQ (HR/Finance/Legal)
- Ensure smooth communication and alignment with internal stakeholders
- Assist in managing office-related administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient
- work environment as needed
- Qualification and Requirements
- 3–10 years of experience HR, People Operations, or HR Generalist roles
- Experience in recruiting, HR operations, and employee management
- Strong organizational and execution skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience supporting sales organizations or incentive structures
- Familiarity with 1099 contractor management
- Experience in startups or new business unit setup
- Interest in Korean culture, K-beauty, or wellness industry
- Korean Bilingual skill is required
