  • Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on technical leader for the position of Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, fault diagnosis, and improvement of automated production equipment. The ideal candidate is not just a personnel manager, but a professional who can diagnose root causes on the spot and guide technicians in troubleshooting. You will play a crucial role in maintaining stable production, minimizing downtime, and improving production efficiency through preventive maintenance (PM) and recurrent fault analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency repairs for production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Analyze root causes for recurrent failures and establish permanent corrective actions.
  • Support the installation, setup, and test runs of new equipment.
  • Manage factory utilities, including compressors, HVAC, and piping.
  • Maintain equipment-related documentation, including PM lists, fault analysis reports, MTTR/MTBF, cycle time management, and daily task logs.
  • Apply a logical problem-solving process on the floor: Symptom → Diagnosis → Root Cause → Corrective Action → Verification → Prevention.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, PLC, and hydraulic systems.
  • Language Skills: Conversational Korean and English skills. (Full bilingual proficiency is not required; the ability to understand general workplace conversations and express basic thoughts is sufficient).
  • Ability to understand manufacturing processes, analyze causes (4M), and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in automotive parts manufacturing or automated production lines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLCs (e.g., LS XGT) and experience with robotics (e.g., Fanuc, Nachi), including operation and teaching.
  • Possession of electrical, welding, or mechanical certifications.
  • Conversational Spanish skills are a plus.
