The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating preventive maintenance activities and managing spare parts and MRO inventory to ensure continuous manufacturing operations. This role develops and maintains preventive maintenance schedules, plans maintenance work orders, and oversees inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies to
maintain optimal stock levels while preventing both shortages and excess inventory. The position partners closely with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, and Purchasing teams to align maintenance planning and parts availability with production schedules and equipment reliability needs.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for production and facility equipment within
the CMMS
Plan and prepare maintenance work orders, including task steps, labor estimates, required parts, tools, and safety
Requirements
Coordinate PM scheduling with Production to minimize disruption to manufacturing operations and align with planned
downtime windows
Monitor PM completion rates, schedule compliance, and backlog; report status and escalate constraints to Maintenance
leadership
Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to review equipment history and adjust PM frequencies, tasks, and strategies
based on reliability data
Maintain equipment records, asset hierarchies, and maintenance documentation within CMMS and related systems
Manage and maintain spare parts and MRO inventory to support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Analyze inventory levels, consumption trends, and equipment demand to determine replenishment needs and reorder
points
Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering to identify critical spare parts and ensure availability of high-risk and
long-lead components
Develop and execute inventory planning strategies that maintain proper stock levels while minimizing excess and
obsolete inventory
Conduct and oversee cycle counts and physical inventory activities; investigate discrepancies, perform root cause
analysis, and implement corrective actions
Create and manage purchase requisitions and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely ordering of spare parts and
materials
Monitor open orders, delivery timelines, and supplier performance to prevent maintenance and production disruptions
Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records within ERP, CMMS, MES, and related systems
Track and report key maintenance and inventory KPIs, including PM compliance, inventory accuracy, usage trends, and
parts availability
Prepare and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance planning and inventory reports
Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning, inventory efficiency, cost, and material flow
Support cross-functional communication with internal teams and global partners regarding equipment, parts, and
maintenance requirements
Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
Maintain regular and reliable on-site attendance
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain;
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container)
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
Maintenance planning or reliability certification (e.g., CMRP, CPMM) is a plus
Experience
3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, equipment planning, MRO/spare parts management, or supply chain
within a manufacturing environment required
Experience working with CMMS and/or ERP systems required
Experience developing or maintaining preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance work orders preferred
Experience supporting spare parts, maintenance, or production inventory preferred
Experience with inventory control processes, cycle counting, and material flow optimization preferred
Exposure to lean manufacturing, reliability-centered maintenance, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred

Bilingual (Korean and English) language proficiency preferred to support coordination with Korean headquarters, OEM
partners, and technical documentation review
Physical Requirements
Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for periods of up to 12 hours: safety glasses, steel-toed
shoes, nitrile gloves, ear protection, and cleanroom suit
Must be able to repeatedly lift, push, and pull materials or equipment for periods of up to 12 hours
Must be able to repeatedly stoop, twist, and bend for periods of up to 12 hours
Must be able to repeatedly reach overhead for periods of up to 12 hours
Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods
Must be able to use hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, and computer systems
Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, including production, warehouse, storeroom, and maintenance areas
Work may involve handling or working in proximity to hazardous materials and regulated industrial chemicals
Exposure to chemical vapors, dust, or other controlled substances may occur depending on process assignment
Strict adherence to company safety policies and OSHA Hazard Communication requirements is mandatory
Employees must properly wear and maintain assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times within designated
areas
Required PPE may include respirators, chemical-resistant garments, gloves, eye protection, face shields, or other
equipment determined by process and risk assessment
