The Business Planning Manager leads enterprise-wide financial planning, strategic initiatives, and executive decision support. This role acts as a strategic partner to senior leadership and overseas Headquarters (HQ), translating complex financial and operational data into executive narratives, business cases, and strategic presentations for C-suite stakeholders (CEO, CFO).

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range strategic financial planning cycles.
Own monthly close analyses and present variance insights tied to specific operational drivers.
Build and maintain robust financial models for revenue, cost, and profitability scenarios.
Establish and scale automated reporting frameworks, KPI dashboards, and data quality enhancements.
Strategic Initiatives & Executive Decision Support
Partner with cross-functional department leaders to evaluate operational initiatives and quantify financial impact.
Develop business cases, strategic recommendations, and risk/opportunity analyses for executive review.
Author executive-level strategy reports, board decks, and presentation materials (Word, PowerPoint) for CEO staff meetings, executive committees, and board reviews.
Manage multiple concurrent ad-hoc analyses and ambiguous business inquiries under tight timelines.
Coach, mentor, and review the analytical deliverables of junior team members.
Headquarters (HQ) Communication & Liaison
Serve as the primary finance point of contact between U.S. operations and Korea Headquarters.
Communicate monthly performance, forecasts, and variance drivers directly to HQ leadership.
Align local targets, planning assumptions, and strategic direction with global guidelines.
Manage and resolve ad-hoc analysis requests from HQ management with full ownership.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business. (MBA, CPA, or management consulting background preferred).
Experience: 7–10+ years in FP&A, corporate financial planning, strategic planning, or corporate strategy consulting.
Executive Materials: Extensive, proven track record creating high-stakes executive decks, strategy memos, and board presentations (PowerPoint, Word).
