What you can ask

Example requests for sourcing, outreach, jobs and reporting, with what Tahoe does.

Once Tahoe is connected, you ask for things in your own words and the app does the work in Tahoe. This page shows real requests for each part of Tahoe: what you type, what the app does, and what it costs. Use them as a starting point and change the details to fit your roles.

The examples follow Jordan Rivera, Talent Lead at Kestrel Labs, a made-up payments startup with offices in Seoul and San Francisco. Jordan is on the Growth plan. Every person, company, email address and phone number here is invented. Your app’s wording will be different; what matters is what Tahoe does and what it charges.

Sourcing

Example

Find senior product managers in payments, based in the US, 7+ years, ideally ex-fintech.

The app first turns the request into search filters and shows them with the price: job title Senior Product Manager, skill Payments, country United States, at least 7 years, industry Financial Services. In Claude and ChatGPT the filters appear on a card you can edit; Jordan adds the company Lumen Pay as a ranking boost. Then the app runs the search: 132 matches over 7 pages, led by Maya Okafor, Senior PM at Lumen Pay in Austin, with a match score of 91.

Cost: the filter preview is free; the first page of 20 people is 2 credits.

Example

Reopen last week’s ICU nurse search in Busan. Too few results, try other ways.

The app reopens the search from your history (9 people, free to reopen) and runs an X-ray web search, which finds 14 more public profiles. It then offers the concierge: Tahoe’s sourcing team builds a list by hand and emails it within 24 hours. Jordan says yes and describes the role: ICU nurses in Busan, 3+ years, good English, open to moving to Seoul.

Cost: 10 credits for the X-ray search. The concierge is 50 credits, refunded if the list is not delivered, and only if you say yes.

Good to know when you search:

  • A search uses at most 2 job titles and 3 skills.
  • Companies and certifications raise people in the ranking but do not filter anyone out.
  • Languages also only raise the ranking, unless you say a language is required.
  • You can ask in Korean. Tahoe searches in English, because profile data is in English, and keeps your original wording.
  • “Find matches for my Staff Data Engineer job” starts the search from the job’s own description.

Contacts

Example

Load the next page, save the top 8 overall to a new list called PM Payments US, and get their work emails. Don’t spend more than 10.

The app loads page 2, saves the 8 people to the new list, gets a free quote and reveals their work emails. It finds 7 (for example [email protected]) and none for Aiko Tanaka.

Cost: 2 credits for the new page and 1 credit for each email found: 9 credits in all. Saving is free.

Example

(attaches Connections.csv) Import my LinkedIn connections and show who works at Lumen Pay or Brightwater Bank.

The app imports 312 connections (4 were already in Tahoe) and lists the 3 who work at those companies. Jordan follows up: “Get personal emails for those 3. Max 9 credits.” The app finds 2.

Cost: the import is free. The 2 personal emails found cost 3 credits each: 6 credits.

Imports from a chat take up to 500 rows per message. If a reveal takes longer than about 45 seconds, the app checks back on it instead of waiting.

Outreach

Example

Email the PM Payments US list about our Senior PM role from my Gmail, with 2 follow-ups, weekdays 9 to 4 Central.

The app checks that your mailbox is healthy, drafts a three-step sequence and saves it as a draft campaign. It shows you the audience (7 people can be emailed, 1 is skipped because there is no email on file), the schedule (follow-ups after 3 and 7 days) and the signature from your outreach defaults, then asks “Launch?” When you say yes, your app asks you to approve the send. Emails go out a few minutes apart, inside the sending window.

Cost: free. Sending email never costs credits.

Connect your Gmail once in the dashboard under Outreach → Mailboxes. Tahoe can only send from it; it cannot read your inbox. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and people who unsubscribe are skipped from then on. You can also ask “Pause the Senior PM campaign” or “Save step 1 as a template called PM intro”.

Jobs and applicants

Example

Turn the job description in my CSM APAC Google Doc into a job, turn on phone screening, and publish it Monday at 9am Seoul time until November 30.

The app reads the Doc with your Google Drive connector, drafts the posting and creates it as a draft. Tahoe’s review suggests adding a salary range, so the app adds USD 65,000 to 80,000. It schedules the job to publish on Monday at 9:00 Seoul time and close on November 30. Phone pre-screening is on: candidates call the dial-in number and key in the 6-digit Job ID, 482913. Tahoe never calls candidates.

Cost: creating and publishing jobs is free. Phone pre-screening needs the Growth plan or higher and is charged by the actual length of each candidate’s call.

Example

Triage the new CSM applicants: move strong ones to Phone Screen, reject clear mismatches.

The app lists the new applicants by match score, reads each application and proposes: move Daniel Cho (89%), Priya Raman (85%) and Elena Ruiz (81%) to Phone Screen, and reject 2 people who are outside the location requirement. It asks before doing anything. After Jordan says yes, it moves and rejects them, with the reason “Location requirements not met”. Candidates are not emailed.

Cost: free.

Example

What did Daniel say on his phone screen? Log a yes scorecard if it’s solid.

The app reads the screening: a 6-minute call with all 8 questions answered, a notice period of 4 weeks and a salary expectation inside the range. It saves a scorecard with “Yes”.

Cost: free.

AI summaries and match scores help you read faster; they never decide for you. A job-board résumé is free for 90 days, can be viewed until day 120, and then costs 50 credits to unlock.

GitHub

Example

Find Rust engineers with WebAssembly experience in Europe, about 100 reachable.

The app builds a plan and shows it with the price: language Rust, topics webassembly and wasm, locations Germany, the Netherlands and Poland, 2 credits, about 6 minutes. After Jordan says “Go”, the search runs in the background and the app reports progress. It finds 104 reachable developers. “Save the top 25 to Rust WASM EU” saves them to a list.

Cost: 2 credits, charged when the search finishes. Saving is free. A CSV export is 20 credits the first time for each search.

Connect your GitHub account once in the dashboard under GitHub. One GitHub search runs at a time, up to 10 per workspace per day.

LinkedIn

Example

Announce our Staff Data Engineer role on my LinkedIn, warm tone.

The app reads the job and drafts a post (412 of 3,000 characters). Jordan asks for one change, then says “post it”. Your app asks you to approve, and the post goes to your own LinkedIn feed. A post is public and cannot be undone from Tahoe.

Cost: free.

Connect LinkedIn once in the dashboard under LinkedIn Post. Posting from AI apps is off until a workspace owner or admin turns on Post on LinkedIn in Settings → AI connectors.

ATS and CRM

Example

Send Maya and the other two interested PMs to Lever under Senior PM, Payments. Then source more for that role.

The app checks your ATS connection, finds the role, and checks for duplicates: Ji-woo Han is already in Lever, so he is skipped. It shows a preview of the export and, after you approve, sends Maya Okafor and Aiko Tanaka onto the role. Then it starts a new search from that role and finds 88 people.

Cost: exports are free. The new search is 2 credits.

Connect your ATS once in the dashboard under ATS & CRM → Integrations, and turn on the ATS and CRM tools when you connect your app. You can also ask “Why did last night’s ATS sync fail?”

Reporting and credits

Example

Write my weekly hiring digest.

The app reads your analytics and writes a short digest: 41 applications (up 18%), a median of 3.2 days in Review, a 28% reply rate on the Senior PM US campaign, and 63 credits spent (22 on search, 41 on contact reveals).

Cost: free.

Other things to try, all free:

  • “Good morning. What needs my attention in Tahoe?”
  • “How many credits do I have, and when do they reset?”
  • “What did I spend credits on this month?”
  • “Find everything in Tahoe about Lumen Pay.”

Combine Tahoe with your other connectors

Your AI app can use Tahoe together with other connectors you have added to it, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Google Drive or Notion. Tahoe never needs access to those accounts itself; your app passes information between them.

Example

Who replied to the Senior PM campaign?

Tahoe lists the 7 recipients who have not been marked as replied, each with its Gmail thread. Your app’s Gmail connector reads those threads and finds 2 replies: Maya Okafor is interested and free on Thursday, and Ji-woo Han says to try again next quarter. Tahoe marks both as replied, which stops their follow-ups.

Cost: free. Connect the same Gmail account in your app that you send from in Tahoe.

Example

Book a 45-minute interview with Daniel and Sam from the CS team next Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon, then email Daniel.

Tahoe gives the app Daniel’s email address. Your calendar connector checks free times and books Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Tahoe then moves Daniel to Interview, emails him after you approve the text, and adds a note with the event link.

Cost: free.

You askWhat happens
Post my weekly hiring digest to #hiring. No candidate contact details.Tahoe provides the numbers and your Slack connector posts the digest.
Put the PM Payments US list into a new Google Sheet for Sam, with names, titles, companies and LinkedIn links only.Tahoe provides the list and your Sheets connector creates and shares the sheet.
Turn yesterday’s intake notes into a draft job and start a search.Your Docs or Notion connector reads the notes, and Tahoe drafts the job and previews the search.
