Account and plans
Do I need a credit card to try Tahoe?
No. A new account comes with 10 welcome credits, which last 14 days, and one free search a week once they run out. You only add a card when you choose a plan. Getting started
Do unused credits roll over?
Plan credits do not. They are added every month and expire at the end of that billing cycle. Top-up credits never expire, and Tahoe always uses the credits that expire first, so your plan credits go before your top-ups. Plans, billing and credits
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, then it does not renew. Plans, billing and credits
How do I add teammates?
Owners and admins invite people in Settings → Team & Roles, on Growth and above. Members use a paid seat. Viewers, who can only look at shared candidates, scorecards and notes, are free. Invites last 7 days. Team and roles
Can I use Tahoe from Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes, on any paid plan, at no extra cost. Connect your AI app to Tahoe MCP and ask in your own words. Actions cost the same credits as in the dashboard. MCP overview
Search and contacts
What does a search cost?
2 credits for each page of 20 results. A page your workspace already loaded is free, and so is reopening a past search from Search History. Checking and changing filters before you search costs nothing. Search for candidates
You load 3 pages of results for Warehouse Supervisor in Dallas, then come back the next day.
The first visit costs 6 credits. Reopening the same search from Search History the next day is free, and so is paging back through the 3 pages you already loaded.
Am I charged if Tahoe cannot find an email or phone number?
No. A company email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a phone number 15, and only when Tahoe finds one. Details already on file are free. Enrich contact details
Where do the profiles and contact details come from?
Tahoe searches public professional profiles, and contact details come from contact data sources. Results and contact details
Can I find software developers on GitHub?
Yes. Use GitHub → New Search and paste a job description. Every developer it returns has a real email address. The search runs on your own GitHub account, which you connect first. GitHub developer search
Outreach
Does sending email cost credits?
No. Sending outreach emails and follow-ups is free. You send from your own Gmail address. Connect a mailbox
Can Tahoe read my inbox?
No. Tahoe asks for send-only access when you connect Gmail and does not read your inbox contents. Connect a mailbox
When do follow-ups stop?
Follow-ups stop for anyone who replies, bounces or unsubscribes. Campaigns and follow-ups
Jobs
How does phone pre-screening work?
Each job gets a 6-digit Job ID. Applicants call one dial-in number and key in the Job ID to answer your screening questions. Tahoe never calls them. Pre-screening is available on Growth and above and is charged by the actual length of each call. Phone pre-screening and Job ID
How long can I see an applicant’s resume for free?
For 90 days after they apply. After that it stays view-only until day 120, then it locks. Unlocking it costs 50 credits once, and the unlock is permanent. Pipeline and applicants
Privacy and data
Who can see diversity (EEO) data?
Only workspace owners and admins, and only as totals for the whole group, never per person. Tahoe shows it only when a group is large enough. Hiring analytics
What does Tahoe not import from my ATS?
Offers, compensation and EEO data, scorecards and notes. Resume files are only brought in when a recruiter opens that candidate. Connect your ATS or CRM
How do I stop an AI app from using my account?
Open Settings → Connected apps and click Disconnect next to the app. It loses access within about 30 seconds. Changing your password also disconnects all your AI apps. Connected apps
