Enrich contact details

Look up company emails, personal emails and phone numbers for the people you saved.

Enriching means asking Tahoe to find a company email, a personal email or a phone number for people you have saved. Tahoe checks its contact data sources and fills in what it finds. You see the price before you start, and you pay only for the details Tahoe actually finds.

Looking up contact details needs a paid plan. Without one, Tahoe asks you to choose a plan first.

Where to start

PageHow to open the Enrich dialog
Saved ProfilesSelect people, then click Enrich selected.
Search HistoriesOn the Profiles tab, click Enrich or Enrich more on a person.
My LinkedIn ContactsSelect contacts and click Enrich selected, or click Enrich on one row.
A listClick Enrich at the top of the list, for everyone or for the people you selected.

On the search results screen, you reveal details with one button per detail instead of this dialog. Reveal contact details from results

Use the Enrich dialog

The dialog is called Enrich contacts.

Choose who

Under Scope, choose the people you selected (shown as Selected candidate or Selected (8)) or, when you start from a list, the Entire list.

Tick the details you want

Under Fields, every box starts unticked, so nothing is looked up unless you ask for it. Until you tick one, the dialog says “Tick the fields you want Tahoe to look up.”

FieldCredits per personCharged
Company email1Only when found
Personal email3Only when found
Phone15Only when found

Check the estimate

The dialog shows the estimate, for example “Estimate: 8 credits for 8 candidates” for company emails, and your Balance after run. People who already have a detail are left out of the estimate. The dialog says so, for example “Already on file, no credits used: company email for 3 candidates.”

Start

Click Start enrichment. The estimate is the most the run can cost: you are charged only for the details Tahoe finds.

When Start enrichment is greyed out

  • No field is ticked yet.
  • Everyone in scope already has the details you ticked. The dialog shows the “Already on file” line instead of an estimate.
  • Your balance is lower than the estimate. The dialog says “Balance is lower than the requested estimate” with a Top up credits → button. Plans, billing and credits

If some people already have a lookup running for the same details, the dialog says they will be skipped, so you never pay twice.

While it runs

Lookups usually take a few minutes. The dialog closes and you can keep working. While Tahoe is looking, a contact cell shows a soft moving glow (on My LinkedIn Contacts, “Finding…”). You cannot type into a cell while its lookup runs. Each cell fills in by itself when the answer arrives.

What the results mean

The cell showsWhat it meansCharged
The email or phone numberTahoe found it.Yes, 1, 3 or 15 credits
N/ATahoe looked and found nothing. Hover over it for a note that nothing was charged. No
Couldn’t look upThe lookup itself failed, so Tahoe learned nothing about this person. Try again later. No
A small iconNobody has looked this up yet.Not yet

A value with a note on hover came from somewhere other than a lookup: “Added manually by your team” when someone typed it, or “From LinkedIn profile” when the Chrome extension saved it from the person’s LinkedIn contact info. Tahoe counts these as already on file and does not look them up or charge for them.

On My LinkedIn Contacts, the Enrichment column also sums up each person: Enriched, Partially enriched, Email not found, Phone not found, No data found, Failed or Not enriched. The “not found” statuses cost nothing. LinkedIn contacts

Examples

Example

Jordan Rivera at Kestrel Labs selects 8 field coordinators in Saved Profiles and ticks Company email and Phone.

Three of them already have a company email, so the dialog says those are already on file. The estimate is 5 company emails and 8 phones: 5 + 120 = 125 credits. Tahoe finds 4 emails and 3 phones, so Jordan pays 4 + 45 = 49 credits instead of the 125 in the estimate.

Example

One of Jordan's cells says Couldn't look up.

Nothing was charged for it. The next day Jordan selects that person, clicks Enrich selected, ticks only that field and starts again.
