Getting started
Create your workspace, run your first search and learn how credits work.
This page takes you from a new account to your first saved candidate. You create an account, give Tahoe one real job, look at the people it finds and keep the best one. Along the way you learn where things are in the side panel and how credits work.
Create your account
Open the sign-up page
Go to tahoe.workonward.com/en/signup. You do not need a card to sign up.
Choose how to sign up
Pick one of these:
- Google, with a business Google account.
- Your business email and a password of at least 12 characters. Tick the box to agree to the terms and the privacy policy, then click Create Account.
- Sign up with LinkedIn, if you see that button. Any LinkedIn account works here.
Personal email addresses, such as Gmail or Outlook accounts, are not accepted for the email sign-up. Use the address you use at work.
Verify your email
If you signed up with an email and password, Tahoe sends you a link. Open it to verify your address, then sign in. Tahoe creates your workspace for you, so there is nothing else to set up.
Working with a team? Have one person sign up, then invite the others from Settings. Team and roles
Your first three steps
Right after you sign up, the home screen says “One job in. Great humans out.” It walks you through three steps, one card at a time. A progress row at the top shows where you are: Add a job, Find matches and Save one.
Drop in one live job
Click Bring me a job. Paste the job description, add a link to the posting, or type one sentence about the role. Tahoe tidies up the rest into a job post. If you already created a job, click I already have a job instead. Create and publish a job
Find the people who fit
Click Find my matches to open your job postings, open the role and click Find matches. Tahoe turns the job into a search and shows you the filters before anything is charged. Review and refine filters
Keep your first great match
Click Review my matches to open your searches, look through the people Tahoe found and keep the one you like best. Enrichment and outreach can wait until after this. Results and contact details
Once you finish, the home screen changes to a search box and your recent candidates. Until then, a small Getting started checklist follows you around Tahoe with the next steps, such as connecting Gmail and installing the Chrome extension. You can dismiss it with its close button.
Jordan Rivera at Kestrel Labs signs up and pastes the description for a Field Coordinator role in Columbus, Ohio.
Tahoe drafts the job post. Jordan clicks Find my matches, checks that the filters say Field Coordinator and Ohio, and runs the search. The first page of 20 people uses 2 of the 10 welcome credits. Jordan opens the top few profiles and picks the person with the most field operations experience to contact first.
Welcome credits and your free search
Every new workspace gets 10 free credits. They expire 14 days after you sign up, and Tahoe uses them first. They are meant for searching: one page of 20 results costs 2 credits, so 10 credits pay for 5 pages.
A workspace without a plan also has a free search for when credits run out: the first page of 20 results, with no card needed. When it is available, the line under the search box says “You have 1 free search to get started.”
How credits work
Credits are the one currency in Tahoe, and every paid action shows its price before you confirm it. A page of 20 search results costs 2 credits, and a page your workspace already loaded is free. A company email costs 1 credit, a personal email 3 and a phone number 15, and you pay only when Tahoe finds one. Sending outreach email is free. Your plan adds credits every month, and you can buy top-up credits, which never expire. You can see your balance and every charge in Settings → Credits. Plans, billing and credits
Find your way around the side panel
The side panel on the left holds every part of Tahoe. Click a section to open it; sections with more than one page fold open to show them.

Install the Chrome extension
The Chrome extension, Tahoe for LinkedIn, saves a LinkedIn profile to Tahoe in one click while you browse.
Add it to Chrome
Open the Tahoe for LinkedIn page on the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. Installing it is free.
Sign in to Tahoe
Sign in to Tahoe once in the same Chrome browser. The extension uses that sign-in, so there is no second password.
Save someone from LinkedIn
Open a person’s profile on linkedin.com and save them with the Tahoe button. They appear in Contacts → Saved Contacts. Saved contacts and the Chrome extension
The extension works on regular LinkedIn profile pages. It does not work inside LinkedIn Recruiter yet: open the person’s public profile and save from there.
