Manage your connections

See which AI apps are connected, switch workspaces and disconnect.

Every AI app you connect to Tahoe shows up in one place in the dashboard, so you can see what each one can do, move it to another workspace, or cut it off. This page explains that screen, and the times Tahoe disconnects an app for you.

Find your connections

In the side panel, choose Settings, then the Connected apps tab. You see three sections:

SectionWhat it shows
Use Tahoe in your AI appThe server address https://mcp.hiretahoe.com/mcp with a Copy button, the one-line command for Claude Code, and a link to the setup guide for every app.
AI appsEach AI app connected to your account: its name and badge, the workspace it works in, its permissions and when it was last used.
Apps you signed in to with TahoeOther tools where you used Sign in with Tahoe, with their permissions and when you connected them.

The badge next to each AI app tells you who it is:

  • Verified: a known app that Tahoe has checked, such as Claude or ChatGPT.
  • Registered by your workspace: an app your workspace admins set up, such as Gemini Enterprise or Copilot Studio.
  • Unverified: Tahoe has not checked who publishes it. Keep it only if you set it up yourself.

Each time you connect a new app, Tahoe emails you a confirmation with a link straight to that connection on this screen.

Move a connection to another workspace

A connection works in exactly one workspace. If you belong to more than one, the Workspace column has a list: choose another workspace and the app works there from then on. Moving a connection never gives it more than it could already do. Choosing a workspace here does not change which workspace the dashboard opens.

Working for two clients at once, for example at an agency? Connect Tahoe twice in your app, once for each workspace. Tahoe never mixes two workspaces in one connection.

Disconnect an app

Find the app

In Settings → Connected apps, find the app in the AI apps table.

Click Disconnect

Click Disconnect on its row, then confirm. The app loses access to Tahoe within about 30 seconds.

Connect again later if you want

To use the app again, connect it from the app itself. You sign in and approve it again.

To change the permissions or the tool groups a connection has, connect again from the app. If it is already connected, approving again updates that connection. You can also disconnect first and start fresh.

Example

Jordan Rivera leaves a laptop with Claude Code on it in a taxi.

From another computer, Jordan opens Settings → Connected apps and clicks Disconnect next to Claude Code. Within about 30 seconds it can no longer reach Tahoe. The connections in Claude on Jordan’s phone keep working. Changing the Tahoe password would also disconnect every app at once.

When Tahoe disconnects an app for you

Tahoe ends your AI app connections automatically when:

  • you change or reset your password, or change your email address;
  • you are removed from the workspace;
  • a connection’s sign-in is reused in a way that looks suspicious. You get an email when this happens.

A workspace owner or admin can also disconnect your apps, one at a time or all at once, from Settings → AI connectors. Admin controls

When your role changes

If your role in the workspace is lowered, your connections keep working, but they can only do what your new role allows. For example, a viewer’s connection stays read-only, whatever was approved before. An app can never do more than your Tahoe role allows.

How long you stay signed in

You stay connected for up to 90 days without signing in again, as long as you use the connection at least once every 30 days. After that, the app asks you to sign in again.

Apps you signed in to with Tahoe

Some tools let you log in with your Tahoe account (“Sign in with Tahoe”). These are not AI apps, so they have their own section at the bottom of Connected apps. Click Disconnect to stop one from reading your Tahoe data. If you sign in to it with Tahoe again, it asks for your approval again.
