Connect your ATS or CRM

Bring your candidates and open roles into Tahoe and see who is already in your pipeline.

If your team already tracks candidates in an applicant tracking system (ATS) or a CRM, connect it to Tahoe. Your existing candidates and open roles come into Tahoe, so you can see who is already in your pipeline before you contact them, export new profiles straight to a requisition (req), and start searches from your live job descriptions.

In the side panel, choose ATS & CRM, then Integrations. Connecting, importing and exporting do not use credits.

What connecting gives you

See who is already in your pipeline

Tahoe checks the people you find against your ATS. A badge reads Already in your system (matched on email, LinkedIn profile, or name and employer) or Possibly in it (matched on name only), with the role and stage on record and an Open in link. You see it in the candidate side panel, under “In your” plus the system name, and in the In ATS column of your saved lists. If a name-only match is wrong, click Not the same person.

Export profiles to a req

Send people you found in Tahoe into a role in your ATS, with the contact details you have already unlocked. Export candidates

Search from live job descriptions

Your open reqs appear under Imported Roles, where one click turns a role’s job description into a Tahoe search. Imported roles

Connect your system

Find your system

The page lists the systems you can connect, including ATSs such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable and CRMs such as HubSpot. Use the ATS, CRM and All tabs, or type its name in the search box.

Check what it supports

The cards are grouped by what Tahoe can do with each system:

  • Full sync: import, duplicate badges and export.
  • Connect only: Tahoe stores the connection, but there is no scheduled import yet.
  • Needs an OAuth app before it can be connected: the system needs extra setup first. The card links to a setup guide, or asks you to contact support.

Connect

Click Connect on the card and sign in, or paste the key your system asks for, in the secure dialog that opens. Tahoe never sees your ATS password or API key.

Let the first import run

The first import starts straight away. The system appears under Connected with how many candidates, roles and applications came in. Follow the import on Sync Activity.

The top of the page shows how many systems are connected out of the number your workspace allows.

Manage a connection

Each connected system has these buttons:

ButtonWhat it does
Import nowFetches the latest changes now, instead of waiting for the next import.
Manage dataChoose what to import, and see where it goes in Tahoe.
Export settingsTurn exports on and set how they work. Only shown for systems that accept exports.
ReconnectSign in again, for example after the connection was removed on your system’s side.
DisconnectRemoves the connection and the data imported from it (see below).

The status next to the name is Connected, Needs attention, Paused or Disconnected at the provider. When something is wrong, Tahoe keeps the data from the last good import and tells you how old it is.

What Tahoe imports, and what it does not

In Manage data, switch each kind of record on or off under What Tahoe imports. Imported roles go to Imported Roles and appear in Job Postings marked as coming from your ATS. They stay private: Tahoe never publishes an imported role on your career page. Imported people power the duplicate badges and Hiring Analytics.

Tahoe does not import:

  • resume files, until a recruiter opens that specific candidate;
  • offer letters, compensation, and EEO or diversity data;
  • interview scorecards and internal notes.

Force full re-import (under Advanced) pulls everything again. Records are matched, so nothing is duplicated.

Export settings

  • Export to your system: lets recruiters push Tahoe profiles into its reqs.
  • Include contact information by default: sends only the email and phone that are already unlocked in Tahoe. Exporting never spends credits or reveals anything new.
  • 1-click target role: the role exports go to when someone ticks “remember this role” while exporting.
  • Attribute writes to this user: the user or member ID in your system that exports are recorded under. Lever needs it for every export. Other systems need it to move candidates between stages.
  • Auto-export (off by default): exports a candidate automatically when they are shortlisted in a Tahoe list, added to an outreach sequence, or reply positively or are marked Interested. These exports are not reviewed by anyone first, but each one is logged in Export History and duplicates are still skipped.
Example

Jordan Rivera at Kestrel Labs connects Lever

Jordan clicks Connect on the Lever card and signs in. The first import brings in 1,240 candidates and 18 open roles. In Export settings, Jordan turns on export and enters a Lever user ID, so exports are recorded under that user. From then on, when Jordan opens a candidate in Search, the side panel shows if that person is already in Lever and at which stage.

Disconnect

Disconnecting cannot be undone. When you confirm:

  • Tahoe’s access to your system is removed and the stored credential is destroyed;
  • the candidates, roles and applications imported from it are deleted from Tahoe;
  • its duplicate badges stop appearing in Search.

Profiles you found in Tahoe, your saved lists, outreach history and export history are not affected. Nothing changes in your ATS or CRM account.
