MCP overview

Use Tahoe from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and other AI apps by signing in with your Tahoe account.

Tahoe MCP lets you use Tahoe from the AI app you already work in, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Meta Muse, Cursor or VS Code. Instead of clicking through the dashboard, you ask in your own words, and the app does the work in Tahoe for you. You sign in with your own Tahoe account, so the app can only do what you can do, in the one workspace you choose.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is an open standard that lets AI apps connect to other services. You do not need to know how it works to use it.

What you can ask

Example

Find senior iOS engineers in Seoul and save the best five to my Seoul iOS list.

The app runs a Tahoe search, shows you the matches with their scores, and saves the five you pick to the list. The search costs the same credits as in the dashboard, and the app tells you the price first.

Example

Who applied to the Field Coordinator job this week?

The app lists the new applicants with their stage, match score and pre-screen status. This is free.

Example

Draft a three-step email campaign for that list and launch it tomorrow at 9am.

The app writes the emails and the follow-ups, shows them to you, and asks before it schedules anything to send from your mailbox.

Search, saved profiles, GitHub search, LinkedIn posts, jobs and applicants, contacts, outreach, ATS and CRM, analytics, billing and settings all work this way. More examples

How it stays safe

  • Same credits as the dashboard. Every paid action states its cost before it runs, and your workspace sets a limit on what one action and one day may spend.
  • You approve what matters. Your app shows each action before it runs. Sending email, publishing a job, exporting to your ATS and posting on LinkedIn ask for your approval the first time.
  • Your role is the limit. The app can never do more than your Tahoe role allows, and your workspace admins decide what AI apps may do at all.
  • You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Connected apps.

Before you start

You needDetails
A paid Tahoe planAny paid plan, such as Starter, Growth or Enterprise. Trial workspaces cannot connect. There is no extra charge.
AI apps allowed in your workspaceOn by default. Owners and admins control it in Settings → AI connectors.
The server addresshttps://mcp.hiretahoe.com/mcp

Sending email from Gmail, GitHub search, LinkedIn posting, exporting to your ATS and buying credits each need a one-time setup in the Tahoe dashboard. If you ask for one of these before it is set up, the app replies with a link to the right page.

Connect in three steps

  1. In your AI app, add https://mcp.hiretahoe.com/mcp as a custom connector (some apps call it a custom app, tool or extension).
  2. Sign in to Tahoe in the window that opens. Choose the workspace and what the app may do, then click Allow.
  3. Switch Tahoe on in a chat and ask your first question.
