Claude and Claude Code

Add Tahoe as a custom connector in Claude, or from the terminal in Claude Code.

You can use Tahoe in Claude on the web, in the desktop app and in the mobile apps, and in Claude Code in your terminal. In both, you add Tahoe once and then sign in with your own Tahoe account. A connection is never shared: everyone on your team connects their own account.

You need a paid Tahoe plan, and AI apps must be allowed in your workspace (they are by default). If you have not connected an AI app before, read Connect your AI app first. It explains the Tahoe sign-in page.

Add Tahoe

On the web or in the desktop app:

  1. Open claude.ai or the Claude desktop app and go to Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Enter the name Tahoe and the URL https://mcp.hiretahoe.com/mcp. Leave Advanced settings at their defaults: Tahoe needs no client ID or secret, and Use Claude’s published identity is fine. Then click Add.
  4. Click Connect next to Tahoe. A browser window opens on tahoe.workonward.com.
  5. Sign in, choose your workspace, review the permissions and click Allow Claude.

In a chat: click + (or the tools icon) in the message box, open Connectors and switch Tahoe on.

On your phone: connectors you add on the web or in the desktop app also appear in the Claude mobile apps. Add Tahoe there first.

Choose which tools ask first

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Tahoe. For each Tahoe tool you can switch it off, let it run without asking, or have Claude ask you every time. Tools that only read run without asking. Tools that change, send or spend something ask you first, unless you change that.

Try it

Example

Find HVAC service technicians near Columbus, Ohio and save the best five to a list called Columbus HVAC.

Claude shows the search filters it will use and the price: 2 credits for the first page of 20 people. You approve, and Claude lists the matches with their scores. You pick five, and Claude saves them to the new list. Saving is free.

Example

Draft a job post for a Field Coordinator in Columbus, Ohio and publish it.

In Claude Code, Jordan Rivera at Kestrel Labs asks this. Claude drafts the post and shows it. With the Recruiter preset, publishing is not granted yet, so the browser opens once to ask for Publish jobs. Jordan approves, and Claude publishes the job. Tahoe remembers the approval, so it does not ask again.
