Connected apps
See and disconnect the AI apps and partner apps that can use your Tahoe account.
You can use Tahoe from AI apps such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, and some partner tools let you sign in with your Tahoe account. The Connected apps tab lists every app that can use your account, so you can check what each one may do and cut off any you no longer use.
Every user has this tab. In the side panel, choose Settings, then the Connected apps tab.
Connect a new AI app
The first card, Use Tahoe in your AI app, has the server address to add in your AI app, with a Copy button:
https://mcp.hiretahoe.com/mcp
It also shows the one-line command for Claude Code and a link to the setup guide for every app. You need a paid plan to connect. MCP overview and Connect your AI app
See your AI apps
The AI apps table has one row per connection:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| App | The app’s name, with a label: Verified, Registered by your workspace or Unverified. |
| Workspace | The one workspace this connection works in. |
| Permissions | How many permissions you approved, with the first few named. |
| Last used | When the app last did anything in Tahoe, or Never. |
Each connection works in one workspace, with the permissions you approved when you connected. The app can never do more than your own role in that workspace allows.
Change the workspace
If you belong to more than one workspace, the Workspace column is a menu. Pick another workspace, and Tahoe confirms, for example “Claude now works in Kestrel Labs.” Moving a connection never gives the app more permissions than you approved. You can also disconnect and connect again, choosing the other workspace on the sign-in page.
Disconnect an app
Find the app
In the AI apps table, find the row for the app.
Disconnect
Click Disconnect and confirm. The app loses access to Tahoe within about 30 seconds.
Reconnect later if you need to
To use the app again, connect it from the app itself. To change which tool groups an app can see, disconnect it and connect again.
Jordan Rivera at Kestrel Labs connected ChatGPT on a laptop that was then handed back to IT.
Jordan opens Settings → Connected apps, sees ChatGPT last used three weeks ago, and clicks Disconnect. Within about 30 seconds ChatGPT can no longer search, read candidates or send email as Jordan. Claude, which Jordan still uses, keeps working.
Apps you signed in to with Tahoe
The second table lists partner tools where you used “Sign in with Tahoe”. Each row shows the app, its permissions and when you connected it. Click Disconnect to stop it reading your Tahoe data. If you sign in to that tool with Tahoe again, you are asked to approve it again.
When Tahoe disconnects apps for you
Tahoe disconnects your AI apps automatically when:
- you change or reset your password;
- you change your email;
- you are removed from the workspace.
If your role in the workspace is lowered, your connections keep working, but they can only do what your new role allows.
AI connectors for owners and admins
The Settings → AI connectors tab sets the rules for the whole workspace, and owners and admins are the ones who can change it. There they can turn AI apps on or off, choose who may connect (everyone, owners and admins only, or nobody) and which apps are allowed, switch off actions such as sending email or publishing jobs, set credit budgets, see every member’s connections with Disconnect all, and read the activity log. Everyone else can see these settings but not change them. AI apps follow a change within 30 seconds. Admin controls
