Results and contact details

Read the results, open a profile, see why it matched and reveal emails or phone numbers.

When a search runs, Tahoe opens its results on a screen of their own: 20 people per page, best matches first. From here you can open anyone’s profile, see how well they match, select people across pages and reveal their company email, personal email or phone number. You only pay for the pages you open and the contact details Tahoe finds.

Read the top of the screen

  • ← New search takes you back to an empty search.
  • The heading is your search in your own words. If you refined it, the line under the heading shows the filters these results used.
  • N matches is how many people fit the search. When there are more than you can page through, it adds top N available, for example “6,592 matches · top 1,000 available.” Narrow the search to reach the rest.
  • Showing tells you which people are on the page, for example 21 to 40.
  • Filters shows how many filters the search used. Click it to change them and search again. Review and refine filters

Move between pages

Use Previous, Next or a page number at the bottom of the screen. The pager also says where you are, for example “Page 3 of 50.”

Free pages stay free for everyone in your workspace, so a teammate can open a page you loaded without paying again. A workspace can open up to 100 new pages a day.

What each row shows

Each row starts with the person’s photo, name and a LinkedIn link. Next come the contact columns Company Email, Personal Email and Phone, then Resume, and then Headline, Country, Company Name, Company Industry, Current Title, Department and Management Level.

An empty contact cell shows a small icon. If you saved this person before, or someone on your team revealed their details, the cells already show what your workspace knows, at no cost.

Open a candidate

Click a row or a name to open the side panel. It shows:

  • The person’s name, role and location, with a LinkedIn button.
  • The AI Match Score: how well this person fits your search compared with the rest of the results, as a percentage with a label.
  • In your followed by your ATS name, when you have connected an ATS and the person is already in it, with their role and stage there. Connect your ATS or CRM
  • AI Outreach (Beta): a short starter email using the person’s name, role and company, the mailbox it would be sent from, and Start outreach to open a campaign. Campaigns
  • Profile details: industry, seniority, department, experience, location, network size, company headquarters and links to the company website and LinkedIn page.

A few sections of the panel are marked as coming soon, such as a breakdown of the match score.

Select people across pages

Tick the box at the start of a row to select a person, or the box in the header to select the whole page. Your selection stays when you change pages. A bar above the results shows the count, such as “8 selected (across pages)”, and Clear empties it.

Reveal contact details

When you select people, the bar shows one button per contact detail, each with its price for your selection:

ButtonCredits per personCharged when
Company Email1Only when Tahoe finds one
Personal Email3Only when Tahoe finds one
Phone15Only when Tahoe finds one

Select the people

Select everyone you want the detail for, on one page or several.

Check the price on the button

The button counts only the selected people who do not have that detail yet and are not already being looked up. For example, with 10 people selected and 4 of them already holding a company email, the button reads Company Email · 6 credits. If everyone already has it, the button is greyed out.

Click the button

The button changes to Company Email · finding… (or the detail you chose) and the cells glow while Tahoe checks its contact data sources. This can take a few minutes. You can keep working, and the cells fill in on their own.

A cell then shows the email or number, N/A when Tahoe looked and found nothing, or Couldn’t look up when the lookup itself failed. Neither N/A nor Couldn’t look up is charged. What each result means

Type in details and attach resumes

Already have someone’s email or phone? Click the empty cell, type it and press Enter. Press Escape to cancel. A value you type is marked “Added manually by your team”, and Tahoe never replaces it with a lookup or charges you to look it up.

In the Resume column, click the icon to attach a resume (PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF or TXT, up to 10 MB). It uploads as soon as you pick the file. Click the file name to download it, or Replace to upload a new one.

While a lookup is running for a cell, you cannot edit it. Typing a detail or attaching a resume for someone you have not saved yet also saves them to Search unlocks.

Save people and send them to your ATS

The results screen has no separate save button: revealing or typing in a contact detail saves the person. From Search → Saved Profiles you can then copy them into any other list, and export them to your ATS from that list. Saved profiles

Examples

Example

Maya Okafor at Harbor Staffing searches for warehouse supervisors in Ohio.

The first page costs 2 credits. Maya opens pages 2 and 3 (4 credits), then selects 12 people across the three pages. She clicks Company Email · 12 credits. Tahoe finds 9 emails, so Maya pays 9 credits. The other 3 cells show N/A at no cost.

Example

Maya already has a phone number from a referral.

She clicks the empty Phone cell for that person and types the number. It is saved as added manually, costs nothing, and Tahoe will not look up a phone for that person again.
