Microsoft Copilot

Add Tahoe as a tool in Copilot Studio.

Microsoft Copilot uses Tahoe through Copilot Studio. Someone who builds agents in Copilot Studio adds Tahoe as a tool to an agent, then publishes that agent to Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot. Everyone who uses the agent signs in to Tahoe with their own account the first time.

You need a paid Tahoe plan, and AI apps must be allowed in your Tahoe workspace (they are by default). Connect your AI app explains the Tahoe sign-in page.

Add Tahoe to your agent

Open the tool form

In Copilot Studio, open your agent and go to Tools → Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol.

Describe the server

FieldWhat to enter
Server nameTahoe
Server descriptionTahoe recruiting workspace
Server URLhttps://mcp.hiretahoe.com/mcp

Choose how to sign in

Under Authentication, choose OAuth 2.0, then Dynamic discovery. Copilot Studio finds Tahoe’s sign-in from the server address, so you do not enter anything else.

Create the connection

Click Create, then Create new connection. Sign in to Tahoe, choose your workspace and what the agent may do, and click Allow.

Publish the agent

Publish the agent to Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot the usual way. Each person signs in to Tahoe the first time they use it, so the agent always acts as that person.

Copilot gets a compact tool set

Copilot Studio limits how many tools one server can add. Tahoe recognizes Copilot Studio and gives it only the core tools of each area: the everyday ones, such as searching, saving candidates, reading the pipeline and drafting outreach. This happens even if someone picks All under Tools the app sees on the Tahoe sign-in page. Areas set to Off there stay hidden.

Tools reference marks which tools are core.

Use an app registered by your workspace

Dynamic discovery is the quickest way to connect. If your company prefers an app that only it can use, a Tahoe owner or admin can register Microsoft Copilot Studio in Settings → AI connectors → Registered apps. They paste the redirect URL that Copilot Studio shows and get a client ID and a client secret, which Tahoe shows only once. Copilot Studio then uses those values instead of dynamic discovery. The steps in Tahoe are the same as for Gemini Enterprise.

Example

List the applicants for the Field Coordinator job who finished the phone pre-screen.

A recruiter at Kestrel Labs asks the company’s recruiting agent in Teams. The first time, a Tahoe sign-in opens. After that, the agent lists the applicants with their stage, match score and pre-screen status. Reading applicants is free.
