Meta Muse
Add Tahoe to Meta Muse as a custom connector. Muse is available in the US and Canada.
Meta Muse is Meta’s personal AI agent. With Tahoe connected, you can ask Muse to find candidates, keep shortlists, look after your job pipelines and draft outreach, signed in with your own Tahoe account. Muse gets a curated set of 30 Tahoe tools, chosen so that Muse can finish every task it starts.
You need a paid Tahoe plan and a Muse account, and AI apps must be allowed in your workspace (they are by default). If you have not connected an AI app before, read Connect your AI app first. It explains the Tahoe sign-in page.
Where Muse is available
Muse is available in the US and Canada only. If Muse is not offered where you are, connect Tahoe to another app, such as Claude or ChatGPT.
Add Tahoe to Muse
Open Connectors in Muse
In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors.
Add a custom connector
Click Add custom connector, enter the name Tahoe and paste the server address:
https://mcp.hiretahoe.com/mcpIf Tahoe already appears in the list of connectors, you can choose it there and click Connect instead.
Sign in to Tahoe
A Tahoe page opens. Sign in to Tahoe the way you usually do. Sign-in starts at mcp.hiretahoe.com, and you log in and approve on tahoe.workonward.com. If a page asking for your Tahoe password is on any other address, close it.
Pick your workspace and permissions
Choose the workspace and a preset (see the next section), then click Allow. Tahoe emails you a confirmation with a link to the connection.
The Tahoe page shows who is asking and the address you will be sent back to, which for Muse is a Meta address ending in meta.ai or muse.ai. When you add the connector yourself, the page may label Muse as an Unverified app. That is expected when you just started the connection from Muse.
Choose permissions
Some apps open Tahoe again to ask for a permission the first time a task needs it. Muse cannot ask for more permissions later, in the middle of a task, so choose what you want Muse to be able to do when you connect.
| Preset | What Muse can do with it |
|---|---|
| Recruiter (recommended) | Everything in the curated set: look things up, run searches, save and organize candidates, manage jobs and pipelines, and draft campaigns. Choose this if you want Muse to make changes. |
| Read-only | Look, but never change anything. If Muse tries to change something, Tahoe refuses with a clear message and nothing changes. Searches that spend credits are not included. |
| Full access | The same as Recruiter in Muse. The tools that need the extra permissions are not in the curated set. |
If Muse needs a permission you did not choose, Tahoe tells it which one, for example: “This needs the permission ‘Run searches’. Disconnect Tahoe in your AI app and connect again, choosing that permission.” Disconnect and connect again with that permission, or with Recruiter. Sign-in and permissions

Not available in Muse
Revealing contact details, sending email (launching campaigns and emailing applicants), publishing jobs or changing their status, phone screens, and the GitHub, LinkedIn, ATS and admin tools are not available in Muse. Some of them need a setup that only works in your browser; others send or publish on your behalf. Do these in the Tahoe dashboard, or in another AI app. Tools reference
Approvals
- Muse asks before every Sensitive write, each time: running a search, loading more results, and rejecting applicants.
- Paid actions show the cost first. A search states its price, 2 credits for each new page of 20 people, and the most it may spend. If the estimate is higher, nothing is charged. Credits and limits
- Reads run without asking. They change nothing and cost nothing.
- Your workspace limits still apply, such as the most credits one action and one day may spend through AI apps.
Find senior iOS engineers in Toronto and save the best five to a list called Toronto iOS.
Jordan Rivera, a recruiter at Kestrel Labs, connected Muse with the Recruiter preset. Muse turns the request into search filters for free and shows them with the price: 2 credits for the first page of 20 people. Jordan approves the search, and Muse lists the matches with their scores, without contact details. Jordan picks five, and Muse saves them to the new list. Saving is free. Total: 2 credits.
Disconnect
You can end the connection from either side:
- In Tahoe: open Settings → Connected apps and click Disconnect next to Muse. Access stops within about 30 seconds, and the tokens Muse holds stop working.
- In Muse: remove the Tahoe connector in Settings, Connectors. To be sure the connection has ended on Tahoe’s side too, check Settings → Connected apps in Tahoe.
Troubleshooting
Muse is not offered where you are
Muse is available in the US and Canada only. Use another AI app, such as Claude or ChatGPT.
Muse says a tool needs a permission
You did not choose that permission when you connected, and Muse cannot ask for it later. In Tahoe, open Settings → Connected apps, disconnect Muse, then connect again from Muse and choose Recruiter or the permission it named.
“This connection is read-only, so nothing was changed”
You connected with Read-only, which never changes anything. To let Muse make changes, disconnect and connect again with Recruiter.
Muse cannot do something another app can
Muse gets a curated set of tools. Revealing contact details, sending email, publishing jobs, phone screens, and the GitHub, LinkedIn, ATS and admin tools are not available in Muse. Use the Tahoe dashboard or another AI app for these.
The Tahoe page says your admin allows only verified apps
Your workspace admin allows only apps verified by Tahoe, and a connector you add yourself may count as unverified. Ask an owner or admin to review the allowed apps in Settings → AI connectors. Admin controls
