Hiring analytics
See applications, hires, time to hire and where applicants come from.
Hiring Analytics shows how your jobs are doing: how many people applied, how many you hired, how long hiring takes and where applicants are getting stuck. It is free to use and updates as you move applicants through your pipelines.
In the side panel, choose Jobs, then Hiring Analytics. Use the Scope menu at the top to see All jobs or one job.
The three numbers at the top
| Number | What it means |
|---|---|
| Applications | Everyone who applied, in the jobs you chose in Scope. |
| Hired | Applicants whose status is hired. |
| Median time-to-hire | The typical time from applying to being marked hired, shown in days (for example 23d) or in hours when it is under a day. |
A median is the middle value: half of your hires took less time, half took more. One very slow or very fast hire does not pull it much.
The four charts
| Chart | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Funnel (by stage) | How many applicants are in each stage right now. For one job, you see that job’s stages. For all jobs, stages are grouped as Applied, Screen, Interview, Offer, Hired and Rejected. |
| Status | How many applicants are new, in review, advanced, hired, rejected or withdrawn. |
| Source mix | Where applications came from. |
| Median time in stage | For applicants still in progress, the typical time they have spent in their current stage. The n next to each bar is how many applicants it is based on. |
To keep these numbers right, move applicants to the right stage and set their status (for example hired) on the applicant page. Pipeline and applicants
Scope: Field Coordinator
You see 48 applications, 2 hired and a median time-to-hire of 23d. The funnel shows 30 people still in Applied, and Median time in stage shows Screen at 9d (n=12). That tells you the screening step is where applicants wait longest. Turning on phone pre-screening for the job could shorten it.
Diversity data
The EEO / diversity (aggregate) section summarizes answers to the optional diversity survey. You add the survey to a job’s application form with + Diversity survey(see Create and publish a job). Candidates can skip any question or answer “I prefer not to answer”.
- Totals only. You see counts for each answer, never who gave which answer.
- Small groups are hidden. Any count below a minimum group size is left out and marked as suppressed, so nobody can be identified from a small number. If no question has enough answers yet, the page says there is no aggregate diversity data above the minimum cohort size.
- Owners and admins only. Other roles see “Restricted to workspace owners/admins.” Team and roles
Common questions
The page says “No applications yet for this scope.” Nobody has applied to the jobs in the current scope. Pick another job, or switch Scope back to All jobs.
Is this the same as Analytics in the side panel? No. The main Analytics page covers search, contacts, outreach and credits. Hiring Analytics covers only jobs and applicants.
